Email Communications

Hello Sunshine Request!

I would like to inquire to the City of Asheville concerning communications to and from Kim Roney. I would like copies of any electronic communications, whether they be in email form, instant messenger, or social media from June 1, 2017 to the present.     Hi Terry,

     

    Happy Monday, and thank you for your reply!

     

    We’d like to clarify that the request does not ask for a keyword search for “Kim Roney”. We interpret that the request is asking for “… copies of any electronic communications, whether they be in email form, instant messenger, or social media” sent to and from Kim. Based on language you’ve used in response to similar requests on our site, we’d like to request that you please perform a search for “all emails from, to, or cc’d to the name Kim Roney” – We think this should narrow things down.

     

    Regarding the timeline – We apologize that the following info. seems to have been missed, and should have been noted to you as an Editor’s Note when the request was sent: Although the sender specified “June 1, 2017 to the present” in their message, the dates they actually filled out in the dates section of our website show the time frame should be “June 01, 2018 – December 05, 2018”.

    Dear Sunshine Request:
    I have begun the email search in order to respond to this request. I have searched all emails that include the name “Kim Roney”. There are 5,178 emails that contain the term “Kim Roney”, which is impossible to search. In order to make this search manageable I need to have a time-frame and/or search terms in order to decrease the number of emails that must be reviewed.
    Consequently, I cannot finish this request unless and until the requester sees this response and provides search parameters.
