Public housing tenants manual; What are all the rules?

Please provide a copy of the Asheville Housing Authority’s Public Housing Tenants Manual. If possible, please provide in a machine readable format like a PDF.

    Dear Sunshine Request:
    I have finally been able to determine that the Asheville Housing Authority is not a City of Asheville agency. The City’s only connection is that the Mayor appoints the board. Therefore, the City has no records responsive to this request.

    I have received your public record request for the Asheville Housing Authority’s Public Housing Tenants Manual. I have looked on the AHA’s website and found a page, here, that has the policies of the AHA at the bottom of the page. The HACA Admin. Plan 7-26-2017 has tenant responsibilities included in different places throughout. There is also a Smoke-Free-Policy, Effective July 1, 2018 and a Trespass Policy. I will also forward your request to the appropriate record custodian(s) to see if there are any other records responsive to your request. I will forward you any other responsive records. We have not yet been able to complete the request by emailing HACA directly, and are wondering if perhaps there’s another entity or someone in City IT who may have access to the document being referenced? Please let us know if you’re able to assist with this request, or if there’s a more appropriate entity you recommend we contact.
