Vance Elementary Ball Field Project
I’d like to see the current version as well as any previous versions of the Memorandum of Understanding between Asheville City Schools and City of Asheville Parks and Rec. Department governing the proposed shared Vance Ball Field Project. Additionally, I would like to see any emails between Asheville City Schools superintendent, assistant superintendents, or staff, and any City of Asheville Parks and Rec. Department director or staff. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

I interpreted the request to be for emails between the Asheville City Schools’ Superintendent’s Office and the City of Asheville’s Department of Parks and Recreation. Those emails are here.

There is not an agreement between the city and Vance Elementary or an agreement about the Vance Elementary Ball Field Project. However, there is an agreement between the city and the Asheville City School System for use of all ACS facilities and vice-versa. There is also an earlier agreement between the COA and ACS.
