Editor’s Note 02/20/19: We received a similar request (to the above) on 02/12/19 for BCS Central Office info that has already been “Sent to Government”, but will be “closed” and merged into the above request. That request asked for
Subject: Buncombe County Schools Central Office Personnel
Message: “Hi! I would like a list of all personnel at the Buncombe County Schools Central Office with their job titles and their most recent salaries. Please include department heads and all of their direct reports. Thank you so much for your assistance!”
We also received a very similar request (to the above) on 02/20/19 related to ACS. That request has been “Closed” and merged into the above request. The request asked:
Subject: Asheville City Schools Central Office salary records
Message: “Pursuant to NCGS Chapter 126, Article 7, I respectfully request the following information for all employees of the Asheville City Schools Central Office: (1) Name. (2) Age. (3) Date of original employment (4) Current position. (5) Title. (6) Current salary. As noted in NCGS Chapter 126, Article 7, the term “salary” includes pay, benefits, incentives, bonuses, and deferred and all other forms of compensation paid by the employing entity Thank you.”
Since both new requests ask for very similar info. related to both ACS and BCS like the original request (above at top), rather than further duplicate information, we’re going to amend and merge all the related ACS / Bunc. County District office requests into one. The message we send to ACS Central office and BCS District office will be as follows:
Subject: Asheville City Schools and Buncombe County Schools district office employees
Message: “Pursuant to NCGS Chapter 126, Article 7, I respectfully request the following information for all employees of the Asheville City Schools Central Office and Buncombe County District Office:(1) Name
(2) Age
(3) Date of original employment
(4) Current position or work assignment
(5) Title
(6) Current salary
(7) Please include department heads and all of their direct reports.
