County Badge Entry Access Data for Scot Van Meter

I'd like to request any and all records of Scot Van Meter's badge access data, or payroll time log data inclusive of time entered and time vacated from Buchanan County, MO courthouse. This request should include the time period of Jan. 01, 1996 - March 27, 2018.

Please provide all documents in a machine readable format (csv or other spreadsheet format).

    Good Morning ????, Our Office fulfills requests for information as prescribed in Chapter 610 RSMO commonly known as the Missouri Sunshine law. I have attached a copy of the Records Request Form we require to be signed and provided to us in the Buchanan County Recorder’s Office. As you stated you are out of state and not familiar with Missouri’s laws I would suggest you obtain a copy of “Missouri Sunshine Law” from Attorney General Josh Hawley at P. O. Box 899, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102.

    Thank you again for clarifying some aspects of your office policy related to filing requests for public records. We just wanted to follow up with you again to ask if it’s possible for you to provide us with a copy of that policy. As I mentioned, while we do occasionally receive requests for information relative to other state’s in the US, we are most familiar with record laws and policies in NC.

    Thank you for clarifying. While we do occasionally receive requests for information relevant to other states, we are most familiar with record laws and policies here in our state, North Carolina.

     

    If possible can you please provide a copy of your office policy for fulfilling records requests? We will share this with the sender of the original request.

    My office policy requires a name, address, a method of payment prior to filling requests for public records. That being said, I do not know who, if anyone, keeps records of the card reader.

    Ed,

     

    Thank you for your reply. Our site intentionally operates so that all requests that we receive are anonymous, hence why a name was not initially provided. Could you please clarify whether public records law in Missouri requires that a person’s name be given with the request? We are happy to provide one if that is the case.

     

    Also, if the information the sender is requesting is not available from Stephanie’s office or yours, can you please refer us to the appropriate contact with whom we should address this request? Or, is this information unavailable because there is no way to fulfill the request?
