(December 2020) Request for Asheville City Schools Community PODS Program info 08/25/20 – 12/13/20
Hello City of Asheville, NC Schools,
I’d like to make a public records request for the following information:
Please provide the percentage of Public School funding that ACS has diverted to Asheville Parks and Rec and Asheville Housing Authority for the PODS Program. Please include monies spent for signs, PPE, and any Technology monies sent.
Please provide all responsive records during the specific time period of 08/25/20 – 12/13/20.

**4/7/21 Editor’s Note: We would be following up today to mark this request as Denied. However, we received an update on other ACS requests recently which indicated Ashley has been out of office for a personal matter, and is also OOO again until April 12th. We will plan to follow up one last time in mid-April, letting Ashley know we acknowledge she’s been out of office and we’re making one more attempt to ask for an update on whether the request is still being processed and when it will be completed. We will mark the request as “Denied” a week after that follow up date, if we haven’t received any additional response. Thank you for using Sunshine Request!
