(February 2021) Request for social media policy info regarding “February 3 City of Asheville Facebook Post”

Hello City of Asheville, NC Government,

I'd like to make a public records request for the following information:

On February 03, 2021 the City of Asheville ("Asheville City Government") made a Facebook post from their page regarding above freezing temperatures, and which also featured an image of one of the characters from the Disney movie Frozen. I believe that post has since been removed from the City's FB page.

It is my understanding that social media posts are a matter of public record. Can you please provide me with the City of Asheville's policy (or policies) dictating that social media posts can be deleted, removed, unpublished, or hidden?

If there are stipulations around the deletion of a post, can you please provide documentation that shows that these protocols/policies were followed when the post was removed?

Thank you for your assistance!

    Good afternoon Sunshine Request,
Our social media policy can be found here and information regarding removal can be found in Section D. I received confirmation that a post was removed from the city’s Facebook page, but I have no other records responsive to this request. Let me know if you have any questions.
    Have a good weekend!
