We have no additional responsive records. Stakeholder meetings were not public meetings so there was no official agenda nor minutes, but all of the presentations are online at wakegov.com/roomfoodtax. Board agendas and minutes from meetings in which the hospitality taxes were discussed are also available online. None of those were specific to the stadium, but the stadium was included in the discussion of the overall hospitality tax review process.

    Thank you!

    Good afternoon Wake County Government,

I work for a website called Sunshine Request www.sunshinerequest.com. We built a site that makes it easier to make public records requests by filling out a simple form, and the results of any requests are posted on our site. This allows citizens to learn more about our local government, while saving staff from having to fulfill duplicate requests. If you have any questions about the project, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to answer.

We received a request for information that may be available in your office. If you are not the appropriate contact, please let us know who to get in touch with instead. Additionally, if you can also please provide a rough estimate as to when the request will be completed, we will follow up again at that time.

There are no City-related documents to turn over at this point. Nothing has come before the City for discussion.

If you would like an email search done, I’ll need specific names, keywords, and dates to look for. All email searches have to be reviewed by the City Attorney’s office as ongoing economic development matters are not considered public record. For very broad searches that return large numbers of emails, this can take a long time for review, so the more specific you’d like to make your request, the faster we can get things reviewed for you.

    Please let us know.
