subject: Regarding RequestThe below request was sent to our office. Please see the email chain below regarding the specifics of the request for which I am replying.
I have reviewed our internal documents to try and determine citations written for this location for the time frame indicated. I was not able to find any documents as requested. However, I would like to note specifically the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is not the keeper of these records that are requested. The North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts is the keeper of the records for all NC Uniform Citations issued which would include the records requested below. Their information would likely include all citations written by any law enforcement officer to include any from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, NCSHP, or other agencies with state LE jurisdiction.
