Good afternoon Buncombe County Sheriff's Office (Records Officer),
I'd like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.

This request is regarding “call types and response times” for BCSO calls for service.
Please provide the following for each year 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 (year to date):
- Number of calls for service (annual total)
- Average response time (from time the call is taken to arrival)
- Top 20 most frequent call type classification
Please do not include any personally identifying information about callers -- Such as location, address of call, name of individuals, etc. This is not relevant to the request.
** If you are unable to fulfill any or all parts of this request, please specifically cite where a reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law. **

The average response time for our priority calls is as follows:
2018 – 13:38 total, 2:35 is dispatch and 11:03 is travel time
2019 – 13:04 total, 2:27 is dispatch and 10:37 is travel time
2020 – 12:37 total, 2:21 is dispatch and 10:16 is travel time
2021 – 12:11 total, 2:37 is dispatch and 9:34 is travel time
2022 – 11:57 total, 2:30 is dispatch and 9:27 is travel time911 dispatch is not able to pull the Top 20 most frequent types of calls out of CAD, so we will not be able to provide that information.
I believe this completes this request.
