(May 2024) Request for Buncombe County, NC Schools: List of all employees, pay, and benefits for 2023 – 2024 school year.

Please reply promptly to the following public records request, which I’m making in accordance with NC Public Records Law. https://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/statutes/html/bychapter/chapter_132.html
The type of basic salary data I’m requesting is simple to provide, is very commonly produced, and is widely considered a matter of public record as part of the public personnel file of employees. Many NC entities fulfill requests like this via email in 1 week, and in many cases 1 day. You’ve also fulfilled a similar request like this for me before.
Please provide a list of all Buncombe County Schools employees and their salaries or pay, during the 2023-2024 school year specifically. This should include all salaried, full-time, part-time, and any contracted, employees. Please include the following:
1) Employee first / last name
2) Position / title / department
3) First date of hire with BCS
4) Annual Salary, and Benefits Given. [This should include their hourly wage, rate, or salary -- whichever payment structure is applicable to the employee].
Ideally, I’d like to receive the responsive records in an Excel or other machine-readable format. If any / all of this info is already publicly available online, please provide a link to where it can be accessed.

I’m NOT asking for the opportunity to come in person to "inspect", nor to obtain a printed copy of, this electronic record. I’m requesting explicitly that any responsive info be provided to me via the electronic medium / electronic format (in which the copy of this record already exists). Thank you for your message on 05/30. I reviewed the file you sent — however, I’d like to ask for some additional clarification. My request asked for:

[This should include their hourly wage, rate, or salary — whichever payment structure is applicable to the employee].– I assume the items I requested in #4 are satisfied by Column #7 (“2023 Salary”) on the document you sent. Can you please confirm though whether “all benefits given” to the employee were included in the overall salary total?
– The document you sent has headings indicating that all 105 pages are just for “January 2023”. Can you please clarify whether the document is actually meant to cover all of the 2023 / 2024 school year as I requested? Or, is there perhaps another file you meant to send for 2024?
