Hi Transylvania County, NC Government (Records Officer),

I'd like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law
Ref: https://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/statutes/html/bychapter/chapter_132.html

Please provide Fiscal Years 2020 / 2021 salary and pay for the County Manger, and for the Assistant County Manager. Please include their salary, travel pay, vehicle allowance, and any other County funds paid out to these two positions.

Please provide all responsive records requested as of 11/11/21 (or as of the date the query is performed).

    The language on your request is a little confusing – so for reference, I am interpreting it as a request for two years of information – Fiscal 2020 (July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020) and Fiscal 2021 (July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021)

     

    For County Manager:

     

    FY 2020:

    Salary: $139,398.55

    Vacation Leave: $2,718.25

    Reimbursement for Cellphone: $650

    Reimbursement for Travel Expenses: $1,804.12.

     

    FY 2021:

    Salary: $143,587.54

    Longevity: $1,250

    Vacation Leave Sold: $2,780.77
