(November 2022) Request for Henderson County, NC Government: Emails with specific keywords. 03/01/22 – 11/09/22.

Good afternoon Henderson County, NC Government (Records Officer),

I'd like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.

Please provide all emails from March 01, 2022 through November 09, 2022 sent To and sent From [email protected] , with the words “Alyssa” or “Norman” included.

I am not requesting to come in person to inspect, nor to obtain printed copies of, electronic records. In accordance with NC Public Records Law, I’m requesting explicitly that all responsive records be provided via an electronic medium / format (in which the records should already exist), such as an email, file share, google drive folder, mailed flash drive if necessary, etc.

I do not have any additional or further clarifying info to provide other than what you see in the message above. If you are unable to fulfill any or all parts of this request, please specifically cite where a reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law.

    You’ve used before, which means you set up a password. And, if you are like me, if you don’t have a password manager program, you don’t remember which one you used. There really isn’t so much that I can’t send as email, I think, so I’ll try that in the a.m.

    You should have received an email from me containing a link to the results of the public records request shown below. It is one .pdf portfolio, with several emails converted to .pdf format. No redactions of these emails were made.

     

    This folder will remain available for at least thirty (30) days. At some point after that, it will be deleted.

    The below was forwarded to me. I have begun the process (that is, I’ve requested our information technology department to collect the emails meeting the parameters “between 3/01/2022 and 110/09/2022, inclusive, on account [email protected] and containing either “Alyssa” or “Norman”). Once I.T. gets the search results to me, I will review for redactions of items not meeting the definition of Chapter 132 of the General Statutes. Once that’s done, I will either email to you at this address or, if very large, will upload to a file sharing site for download.
