(October 2020) Request for A-B Tech Law Enforcement Training correspondence as of 10/13/20
Hello A-B Tech in Asheville, NC,
I'd like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law:
Please provide all emails sent to and from A-B Tech Law Enforcement Training Faculty, Dean Clint Gorman, and Vice President of instruction Beth Stewart, regarding law enforcement training classes, recruiting of students, and equity and anti-bias training. Please include any policies for recruiting students of color to the program, the number of minority students enrolled, and scholarships available.
Please provide all responsive records during the time period of June 01, 2020 - October 13, 2020.

Please let us know what is the anticipated timeline for fulfilling this public records request. Whenever we receive the final results of your search, we’ll post them on our website and can mark the request as “Completed” at that time.
In any case, we’ll check back with you around the end of this month if there hasn’t been an update.
Additionally – If you determine that the request will be denied or cannot be fulfilled for some reason, please cite the reasoning and as well as a copy of any AB-Tech policies / documentation that would justify a denial under NC Public Records Law.
