(October 2021) Request for Transylvania County, NC: COVID 19 funds received or used 01/01/2019 – 08/31/2021

Hi Transylvania County, NC Government (Records Officer),

I'd like to make a multi-part public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law
Ref: https://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/statutes/html/bychapter/chapter_132.html

A. Please provide the total amount of COVID 19 funds received by, and allotted to, Transylvania County from 01/01/2019 through 08/31/2021 (or as of the date the query is performed).

B. Additionally -- Please provide a detailed list of all COVID 19 "funds used" during this same time period. This should include:
- Department
- Payroll
- Equipment
- Supplies
- Etc.

    Good afternoon Sunshine,

     

    After quick review, I have one primary document responsive to your request –  an internal tracking document my office has been using to track and keep updated monthly on various grant programs which are ARPA/CARES affiliated. This has been updated through 9-30-21.

     

    It contains a summary of expenditures, allotments and receipts and describes spending by a broad category, which I believe confirms with the second part of the request.

    I believe this satisfies the public records request on the requested information and within the time frame,  please feel free to update your request on your site that if the requestor would like additional details about specific CARES/ARPA programs we would be happy to provide additional records.
