Racial Disparity Study RFP – Contract- Scope of Work

    **Editors Note: We received a request for clarification related to the service agreement between former Asheville City Manager Gary Jackson and BBC Research. Because the new request we’ve received is a clarification for information relating to an existing request, we have merged the two here. The new update was sent to Asheville City Government.

    We’ve just received another request via www.sunshinerequest.com for information that may be available in your office.

     

    We’ve obviously been receiving several requests in the past couple days for various pieces of info related to the racial disparities study, including the study itself. Which we acknowledge in our previous request you’ve told us that the study is not complete and we will await additional information on that study’s completion and any drafts or other documentation you’re able to provide when it is available.

     

    We’ve received a new request related to the study.

     

    Here are the details:

     

    Subject: “Racial Disparity Study – service agreement”

     

    Message: “The City Manager was directed to enter into a service agreement with BBC Research & Consulting for the 2016 Disparity Study Project for the service agreement amount of $319,948.

     

    I would like a copy of that agreement – it is NOT on the City Website at

    **Editors Note: The staff report to city council on 3/28/17 seems to include a copy of the contract? However, I believe that the requester is interested in seeing a copy of the final signed service agreement between Gary and BBC Research.
