    Good Afternoon Town of Woodfin,

     

    I work for a website called Sunshine Request www.sunshinerequest.com. We built a site that makes it easier to make public records requests by filling out a simple form, and the results of any requests are posted on our site. This allows citizens to learn more about our local government, while saving staff from having to fulfill duplicate requests. If you have any questions about the project, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to answer.

     

    We received a request for information that may be available in your office. This request was received back in February and we have since been trying to get an answer from Town Clerk, Jason Young (CC’d here). We called the Town Office today and spoke with the receptionist there who gave us your email as the best one for handling public record requests. If you’re not the appropriate contact for this request please let us know who we should get in touch with.

    Thank you for your reply! Sorry for any confusion, we’ve reread the sender’s request and just want to clarify that although the sender mentions “Weaverville” in their request, based on another very similar request we received we think that what they meant to write here was:

     

    Message: “Names and titles of all town of Woodfin employees to include, police, fire, town council, town administration and any employee of the Town of Woodfin. As of 2/1/2019. Please include elected officials as well.”

     

    Please now process the request based off of this corrected interpretation.
